About Us
We are a locally-owned business here in Lake Charles that has specialized in cakes, cupcakes, and desserts for any occasion. Since 1968, we have seen so many changes, but nothing like 2020! In that year, we incurred extensive damages from Hurricane Laura that resulted in a total loss of our building. We also lost our founder, Joyce "Jo" Carmont. She was 94! After 50 years, we had to close our doors for a couple of years and regroup.
Since then, we have been able to clearly see how God has carried us through those set backs and pushed us forward to new ventures! We can take no credit for where we are today. He has provided it ALL!
We reopened in 2022 at a NEW LOCATION. In 2023, we welcomed a third generation to the kitchen. See our FAQ tab for more information about online ordering and our future Lake Charles pop-up ventures!
